FREE CHARTS FROM ASTRODIENST
The folks at Astrodienst very kindly offer a free chart service on their web site. If you do not have a copy of your natal chart or would like to explore where other bodies are in your chart such as asteroids, centaurs, recently discovered solar system bodies, and the Transneptunian "hypothetical" planets of Uranian astrology (which I use all the time), this is a great place to go. You can run your natal chart alone or with current transits (where the planets are right now); many other chart options are available as well. While you are there, you might want to look around at the abundance of information Astrodienst offers.
In addition to including the standard planets, the "Additional Objects" options include Pars Fortunae (the Part of Fortune), Vertex, Black Moon Lilith, Chiron, Ceres, Pallas, Juno, Vesta, Eris, Pholus, Nessus, Ixion, Orcus, Quaoar, Sedna, and Varuna. I recommend selecting the first half of the list through Eris. The others are important as well and are here for you to explore when you are interested. (Please note that Astrodienst recommends selecting no more than ten additional objects at a time.) In the "Additional Asteroids or 'Hypothetical' Planets" box, I highly recommend including 5 (Astraea) and 10 (Hygeia). To include other asteroids, click on the "Asteroid Name/Number List" link to look up their minor planet numbers, and then include the numbers in the box. If you are interested in the Transneptunian "hypothetical" planets, you can also include them in the box - click on the "Other Horoscope Factors" link to retrieve their codes.
The next screen will give you the option of inputting your birth data as a guest or registering as a user with Astrodienst. If you opt for guest, your birth data will be placed in a cookie on your computer so that it will appear when you return to the site; if you delete your cookies, the data will be deleted as well.
I am including this information on my web site specifically because I often write about bodies other than the standard planets - this way readers who are interested in finding out where these bodies are in their charts and where they are currently transiting have a way of looking them up.
If you wish to obtain a greater understanding of how these bodies operate in your chart beyond what I explain in my articles, please contact me to schedule a consultation. Thank you!
